If you dream of being the next Meghan Markle, these steps will help you on your road to royalty. Find out how to marry your very own prince charming with Dateinadash!

Every girl dreams of having a big white wedding thanks to the numerous Disney films where the beautiful princess marries her Prince Charming. Meghan Markle has just made that reality and good for her we’d say! This fact alone makes the dream of marrying a prince and living happily ever after a reality and not just a fantasy.

Move forwards to the here and now and in 2018 the gorgeous red head which is Prince Harry is soon to marry the girl of his dreams, Meghan Markle in a beautiful wedding ceremony that’ll have the UK (and most probably the rest of the world!) glued to their TV screens! As London’s #1 speed dating hosts, we’ve put together seven ways to help you find your very own prince and hopefully enjoy your very own happy ever after!

Finding the man of your dreams

If you dream of one day becoming a princess, then you must first find a prince to marry. This sounds simple enough and pretty straightforward but many ladies in the capital struggle to find someone they are compatible with down at the local bar. Running an array of successful singles events and London speed dating events across the city, Dateinadash have been helping to make dreamy matches for many singletons over the last few years. We’ve had weddings, babies and all round fun, laughter and everlasting love. Whatever you are looking for, why not pop along to one of our upcoming events and meet other likeminded singletons all looking for love! It could be the best decision you make all year!

Feel free to pursue any occupation that interests you

Whether you work in a bank, hospital, office or are a full time mummy, single ladies turned princesses come from a variety of backgrounds, and there’s no one occupations that makes you more or less likely to become a princess! So, just like they tell you at school, do a job you enjoy and you’ll never do a day’s work again! Plus, once you’ve bagged yourself a prince all your hard work will have paid off and you’ll soon be rubbing shoulders with the stars, doing lots of charitable and community based projects and become an all round glamorous princess, just as you’ve always wanted! Putting all of that aside, it does seem that acting, fine arts and drama all seem high up on the popular traits and career paths to follow if you want to grab yourself a prince. The proof is in the pudding so here it is! Film star Rita Hayworth married Prince Aly Khan, Olivia Wilde had a lovely but brief marriage to Italian prince Tao Ruspoli, and the beautiful Grace Kelly married the prince of Monaco. Enough said....

Have an understanding of fashion and style

Now we aren’t saying you’ve got to follow the latest trends and look like a carbon copy of the next lady, being a princess means you will always be in the limelight so fashion and style is a big consideration for an up and coming princess! While there will be people to help you once you’ve become a princess, dressing the part is an extremely important aspect of landing a prince. A future princess must know what’s appropriate for a variety of occasions. As a future princess, the world is watching, and it is important to make a good impression so always dress to impress but also be sure to show off some of your fabulous personality too!

Have a sense of humour but also be tactful and considerate

Kate Middleton seems like the picture perfect example of how to behave like a graceful princess so we would say take note of how she acts! You need to be reliable, consistent but also be human at the same time! Having a sense of humour is so important, not only as a princess but just in day to day life so let the real you shine through in every situation wherever possible, and appropriate.

Be careful with social media

In a world overflowing with social media, be it Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat or Twitter, to name just a few, you really have to be careful what information and photographs get leaked on to such platforms. Such personal details really can get into the wrong hands and as a princess, or rather future princess you don’t want to make the headlines for all the wrong reasons! If nothing else, just remember this! Nothing can ruin a royal engagement faster than a scandal (the same applies in ‘real life’ scenarios, keep your personal life just that and everyone will be happy!)

Have a big heart

Helping people or charity is a sure fire way to get yourself noticed, and more importantly, loved. Not that either should be done for this reason alone. But it must be said that a prince will find a woman even more irresistible if she has a big heart and loves to help others. Just look at Princess Diana, the People’s Princess who stole our hearts with her genuine sincerity and huge heart. She did so much for charity and both of her handsome sons are continuing her fantastic work. She would be very proud we are certain of that! And so it’s not unbelievable to think that most men will find women who like to ‘do good’ and help others, even more attractive than before. It shows you care and you want to help and that can only ever be a good thing. So, if you want to capture a prince’s heart, it would be a good idea to be involved in charity. At the very least, a shared interest in charity means you already have something in common with your future prince.

Be gracious

Once you have secured your title as the princess you must remember to be gracious. "If you have succeeded in winning the heart of a prince, wonderful, but remember there are those who won't have succeeded." You may have to deal with jealousy and pettiness, and you must make sure you do so with grace and understanding. Because all girls know the rules- if you cannot be nice, don’t say anything at all, or at least just smile and know deep down, you got the man of her dreams!’
